Blackberry Bold Touch in India Soon
AdvertisementRIM aka Blackberry has recently launched two new BlackBerry Bold smartphones 9900 and 9300. RIM claims that these are the most powerful and yet thinnest of the Blackberry smart phones yet. The new Blackberry 9900 & 9300 Smartphones are the first Blackberry smartphones with QWERTY Keypad as well as Touchscreen. This is very much similar to recently launched Samsung Galaxy Pro. BB 9900 and 9300 also launches the latest Blackberry OS 7.
These phones feature an iconic design with a large and easy to use keyboard. The outer surface has a lustrous look due to premium material and fine finishing. The exterior uses brushed stainless steel frame together with glass weave blackplat. The smart phones are only 10.5mm thick and weigh approx 130g.
Display:
Black berry uses Liquid graphics touch screen which is a new feature of the Blackberry7 OS, the touch screen navigation is extremely fast and responsive infect offers 60 frame per second performance for any user action on UI. The large 2.8 inch screen and resolution of 640 x 480 pixels together with fast UI makes browsing, playing games and watching videos a real fun.
Processor And OS:
The new Blackberry smart phones are based on new performance driven platform having a 1.2Ghz processor. Blackberry introduces the new Blackberry 7 operating system in this new addition to the Bold series. The new platform also supports 4G networks and wide area wireless networks. Black berry 7 OS includes a new just in time (JIT) java script compiler that has immensely increased the load time of WebPages. The new browser also supports the HTML5 contents. Another latest addition is the voice active search that makes searching the web content even easier. The BlackBerry® Balance™ distinguishes between the corporate content and personal contact which gives you a freedom to use the handset for personal use such as social networks, games and other apps while keeping your corporate data fully secured and manageable especially with the help of Blackberry® Enterprise Server 5.0.3.
Camera:
Blackberry usually doesn’t have high resolution camera is their smart phones but these two models features 5MP autofocus camera with LED flash with features like geo-tagging, image stabilization and face detection. It is also capable of recording HD videos at 720fps.
Internal Storage:
The internal storage is 8GB with a 768MB of RAM, the storing capacity can be increased with the help of SD card up to 32GB.
Other BlackBerry Features:
The new bold phones features built in compass to get the advantage of location based services. It also includes wikitude, NFC technology and Docs To Go® with all premium features enabled. On the connectivity front it has WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1 A@DP support and Micro USB 2.0 support.
